The Meinl Byzance Brilliant 18-inch Trash China combines an aggressive, trashy attack with shimmering sustain and complex tonal character. Strategically positioned cut-outs allow the cymbal to open quickly and shorten its decay, making it ideal for sharp accents and explosive effects.
Hand-hammered in Turkey from B20 bronze, the cymbal features a brilliant polished surface and narrow-blade lathing. Its thin weight provides a responsive feel, while the high-mid pitch and medium-dark timbre deliver a distinctive balance of bite, richness and musical complexity.
