Fender Vintera III Mid '60s Jazzmaster – Candy Apple Red

The Fender Vintera III Mid '60s Jazzmaster in Candy Apple Red combines classic 1960s styling with the distinctive sound and playing characteristics of the Jazzmaster. Featuring an alder body, maple neck and round-laminated rosewood fingerboard, it delivers the bright articulation, warm midrange and expressive response associated with Fender's vintage offset guitars.

Two vintage-style Mid '60s Jazzmaster single-coil pickups provide the guitar's characteristic sound, while the traditional lead/rhythm circuit and vintage-style floating tremolo offer versatile tonal and expressive possibilities. A Mid '60s C-shaped neck, 7.25-inch fingerboard radius and vintage-tall frets complete its vintage-inspired playing experience.

Classic Alder Body and Candy Apple Red Finish

The Vintera III Mid '60s Jazzmaster features a solid alder body with the distinctive offset Jazzmaster shape.

Alder provides a balanced tonal foundation with clear articulation, pronounced midrange and a responsive low end.

The gloss polyester Candy Apple Red finish complements the guitar's vintage-inspired appearance, while a three-ply Mint Green pickguard and Vintage White control knobs complete its period-style presentation.

Mid '60s C-Shaped Maple Neck

The maple neck features Fender's Mid '60s C-shaped profile, providing a comfortably rounded playing feel that gradually increases in thickness towards the higher frets.

Its round-laminated rosewood fingerboard has a 7.25-inch radius, 21 vintage-tall frets and clay dot position inlays.

A traditional 25.5-inch scale length and 42mm bone nut provide familiar Fender playing dimensions, while the gloss urethane neck finish completes the classic neck design.

Vintage-Style Mid '60s Jazzmaster Pickups

The guitar features two vintage-style Mid '60s single-coil Jazzmaster pickups designed to capture the warm, woody midrange, bright articulation and smooth attack associated with classic Jazzmaster tones.

The bridge pickup provides a defined, articulate response, while the neck pickup offers a warmer tonal character suitable for rhythm playing and expressive lead passages.

A three-position toggle switch allows players to select the bridge pickup, neck pickup or both pickups together when using the lead circuit.

Traditional Lead and Rhythm Circuits

The Vintera III Mid '60s Jazzmaster features Fender's traditional dual-circuit control system.

The lead circuit provides master volume and tone controls alongside the three-position pickup selector.

A two-position slide switch activates the rhythm circuit, which uses the neck pickup with dedicated volume and tone thumbwheels. This allows players to move between independently adjusted lead and rhythm sounds.

Vintage-Style Floating Tremolo

The guitar features a six-saddle vintage-style adjustable bridge paired with a floating tremolo tailpiece.

The tremolo system includes a push-in arm and tremolo lock button, allowing players to introduce subtle pitch movement, shimmering chords and expressive vibrato effects.

Vintage-style tuning machines, nickel/chrome hardware and Fender USA 250R nickel-plated steel strings complete its traditional hardware configuration.
