Voodoo Lab PPBAT 9V Battery Snap Cable – 18"
The Voodoo Lab PPBAT is an 18-inch power cable designed to run battery-powered effects pedals that do not have an external DC power jack from a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power isolated output. The exact PPBAT uses a 2.1mm straight barrel connector at the power-supply end and a 9V battery snap connector at the pedal end.
Designed for standard center-negative 9V effects, the cable is particularly useful for older or vintage pedals that normally rely on an internal 9V battery. Voodoo Lab builds the PPBAT with a nickel-plated barrel plug, 22-gauge copper wire, flexible coaxial construction and durable PVC insulation.
Power Battery-Only Effects from Pedal Power
The PPBAT connects to the pedal’s existing internal 9V battery snap, allowing compatible battery-operated effects to receive power from a Pedal Power isolated output without modifying the pedal.
2.1mm Straight Barrel Connection
A 2.1mm straight barrel plug connects to the power supply, while the opposite end terminates in a standard 9V battery snap. The cable measures 18 inches / 46cm and uses standard center-negative polarity.
Note: The PPBAT is intended to connect a compatible pedal’s internal 9V battery snap to a power supply. Voodoo Lab specifically states that this cable is not intended to be connected to an actual 9V battery.
