Zoom SCQ-8 Soft Case for Q8 Handy Video Recorder

The Zoom SCQ-8 is a dedicated padded carrying case for the Zoom Q8 Handy Video Recorder, designed to protect the recorder from scratches and everyday knocks during transport. Zoom’s official documentation identifies the SCQ-8 as a padded/soft-shell case specifically designed for the Q8.

The internal layout provides room for the Q8 together with selected accessories, including a windscreen, lithium-ion battery, lens hood, USB cable and SD card. This makes the SCQ-8 a compact transport solution for keeping the core Q8 kit together.

Dedicated Q8 Protection

The SCQ-8 is shaped specifically around the Q8 Handy Video Recorder rather than functioning as a generic equipment case. Its padded-shell construction is intended to help protect the recorder from shock and scratches while travelling or storing the unit.

Zippered Carrying Design

Exact-product retailer listings show the case with a zippered closure and wrist/hand strap. The interior can accommodate the Q8 along with smaller accessories, while the exterior maintains a compact black carrying-case design.
