A guitar pack is the perfect place to start for a someone who is dipping their toe into the world of guitardom. A guitar pack is created to have the right instrument and accessories needed to get shredding straight out of the box.

Should you buy an acoustic or electric guitar? There's no right or wrong answer to this. If your loved one is a Taylor Swift fan they may prefer a steel string acoustic guitar. On the other hand, if your rocker is an ACDC fan then an electric guitar will probably go over better. The goal is to light the fire and get your gift recipient started on their musical journey.

Common accessories sometimes included in packs are: picks, strap, tuner and a bag. For an electric guitar you'll usually get an amp and a lead also. Many amps have headphone outputs these days, so don't fear.

Handy hint: Research has shown that people are more likely to stick with an instrument if they get lessons for 3 months right at the beginning. So maybe you can pair your gift with someone else's to pre purchase some lesson vouchers. Ask our friendly staff to recommend a great teacher in your area.
